I love bling. Even better is the real thing; jewels and gold. I also love life. I enjoy being happy and having a good time. How can we have this life? Where is the real thing?
Real life is found in Jesus Christ. He said, “I am come that they (you) might have life and have it to the full” John 10:10. There is also a city of pure gold that is full of jewels and that is free of all sadness. We commonly call that place heaven. Revelation 21. It is offered to overcomers - someone who is perfect. The bad news is that I’m not perfect. The good news is that Jesus Christ who is perfect overcame for me. “The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 6:23. “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him, will not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16. “If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” Romans 10:9. Accept God’s gift of eternal life today.
Are you still undecided? The first part of John 10:10 says “The thief comes to kill, to steal and destroy… ” Do not let anyone or anything steal your life. Let Jesus Christ take it back for you. You have a choice right now. Here is what Revelation 21:8 says “but the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars – their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfer. This is the second death. ” If you are cowardly and unbelieving then you’ll be with the vile, the murderers… forever! Think about that for a minute.
Or you can choose to be with the overcomers. ”He who overcomes will interit all this (the Holy City…), and I will be his God and he will be my son.” Revelation 21:7 “But as many as received Him to them He gave power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe in His name. ” John 1:12
