Satisfaction

Are you satisfied?  Fame, fortune, nor power satisfies.  You can not work for it.  It is free and it is forever. Isaiah chapter 55 gives us the key to this satisfaction.  God invites us to come to Him.  Isaiah 55:6 says, “Seek the Lord while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near.”  Verse 7 in the same chapter tells us to forsake our wicked ways and thoughts and turn to the Lord and He will have mercy on us.  Verse 3 tells us about God’s faithful love and His everlasting covenant.  Over 2000 years ago God proved His faithful love to us and opened the door for everyone to enter into His everlasting covenant.  John 3:16 – 18 tells us that He sent His Son into the world to save everyone who believes on Him.  He did not come to condemn us for our sinful ways, but to rescue us from them.  You can read in John how Jesus, God’s Son, was born to a Virgin, how he died on the cross to pay for your sins, and how he rose again 3 days later, and after appearing to many, ascended into heaven where He is preparing a place for His children, all who accept what the Lord Jesus Christ has done.  Right now He is in a place free from sin and all it’s effects. No crime, stress, fear or sickness.  Only joy and satisfaction forever.  All of His children will join Him there.  Isaiah 55 tells us that we can not work for it.  He wants to adopt you into His family. He is offering this free gift to you.  Will you reject that gift or accept it?
